How to Wear Stay Guard Tactical Dog Harness?

Step 1: Put on the Harness

• Unsnap the buckles and loosen all the straps.
• Slide the neck opening over your dog's head, with the handle facing up on the back.

Step 2: Secure and Adjust the Straps

• Pass the part of the harness without the handle between your dog’s front legs, positioning it under the belly.
• Once the harness is properly in place, adjust the fit using the sliders and fasten the harness with the two side buckles.
• Make sure you can comfortably fit two fingers between the harness and any part of your dog’s body for a secure but comfortable fit.

How to Adjust the Harness (Neck Position)

• The upper picture refers to the minimum neck position. The sliders should be away from the handle.
• The lower picture refers to the maximum neck position. The sliders should be close to the handle.

How to Adjust the Harness (Chest Position)

• The upper picture refers to the minimum chest position. The chest plate should be close to the back plate.
• The lower picture refers to the maximum chest position. The chest plate should be away from the back plate.

To ensure that the harness fits comfortably, we recommend that you measure the following areas:

Required measurements:

A (Chest): Measure behind the front legs, at the widest part of the chest.

B (Neck): Measure at the base of the neck, near the shoulders (not at the collar).

Optional measurements (for more accurate selection):

C (lower chest length): extends from the widest part of the chest to the abdomen

D (back length): from the shoulder blades to the end of the straps

Tip: Measuring only A and B is enough to select the right size; if you have time to measure C and D, it will help ensure a better fit and comfort.
